After my Fender Rhodes album I decided to keep moving in that more spontaneous direction rather than in pre-composed pieces. This album was the result of applying that right-brain approach to using my synth orchestra and other instruments, generating a sound and letting my fingers work with it, then add other instruments and parts, imposing a form intuitively.
Over the course of 2 years, these pieces came bubbling up. It's more of an ambient album but (heh, heh) you know me... some of it turned out to embrace my normal weirdness and groove. Don't expect Windham Hill here, in other words.
I played synthesizers, accordion, Chapman Stick, KYDD bass, electric bass, guitars, Moog Guitar, and Wavedrum. I had guest stars of my son Miles playing stunt guitar on one cut, Mano Divina Giannone of the Divine Hand Ensemble playing theremin on one cut, and drummer Josh Orlando contributing to two numbers.
Instead of going into a lot of detail on this page below, I'm going to provide the links just above to go to Bandcamp, where I sell this album, and where you can listen to the tunes to audition them. I'm also providing a link to download the liner notes for the album. Those curious about synthesizers will find a lot of info about what was used in the notes.
